Die Umweltkatastrophe am Golf von Mexiko ist einer der schlimmsten Naturkatastrophen. Bereits seit mehr als einem Monat fliesst nun das Öl ins Meer. Nun sammelt ein bisher anonymer Schreiber unter dem Twitteraccount @BPGlobalPR fleissig Follower, indem er die traurigen Geschehnisse bitterböse aus Sicht von BP kommentiert bzw. parodiert. Damit zieht er das Unternehmen BP mit Satire gekonnt durch den Kakao.
11.400 Follower in 5 Tagen
Dabei hat der Account seit dem Start am 19.Mai bereits knapp 11.400 Follower gesammelt. Zum Vergleich: Der Originalaccount @BP_America hat bisher nur knapp 4500 Follower. Beim deutschen Pendant @BP_energie sind es zum heutigen Tage 317 Follower.
Die Aktion begann mit den folgenden beiden Tweets. Schon am zweiten Tweet dürfte deutlich werden, dass der Account nur Satire und die Tweets nicht direkt von BP oder einer PR-Agentur stammen:
